St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations Spark Joy At Newcarron Court
20 March 2021
The Residents at Newcarron Court enjoyed a St. Patrick’s Day to remember as they celebrated together.
Thanks to teamwork from activities, kitchen and care Colleagues, Residents got to have plenty of fun as they donned hats, had a tipple and enjoyed a buffet lunch.
The bunting and flags went up in the morning as Residents put on their St. Patrick’s Day hats and gathered to listen to some Irish music.
However, according to the Activities Co-ordinator Hazel Phillips, it was the buffet lunch that went down a storm.
Hazel said: “Residents absolutely love a buffet lunch – it’s something they’d recently asked for at our chef’s forum.
“St. Patrick’s Day felt like the perfect time to throw them a lovely buffet lunch and to serve a tipple or two.
“Chef even made some gorgeous cupcakes decorated with shamrocks to mark the occasion.”
After all the dancing, food and the arrival of the drinks trolley, Residents agreed they’d thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Hazel said: “It’s lovely to hear Newcarron filled with laughter and to see the Residents having a good time together. It was a brilliant day.”
