LOCALS INVITED TO VIRTUAL TOUR OF NEW LUXURY CARE HOME

Locals can now take a virtual walk around Bishop Cleeve’s new multi-million-pound luxury care home, months before it officially opens.

To overcome lockdown restrictions the team at the new COVID-secure Bishops Cleeve Care Home, on Ruby Road, Greenacres, are offering virtual tours to allow locals to see the new state-of-the-art home for themselves.

Visitors will be personally ‘walked through’ the marketing suite of the stunning home and will see a preview of its exclusive features which, when finished, will include a salon and pamper room, a deluxe cinema, and a family dining suite for residents and their families to enjoy.

The home, which features 64-ensuite bedrooms, will be operated by Advinia Health Care, and is set to open in early 2021.

The virtual tour coincides with the official opening of its beautiful marketing suite.

Customer Relations Manager, Tommy Fellows, said he was delighted that the home was ready to start welcoming visitors, albeit online initially.

Tommy said: “We’re very excited to be able to open our doors for the first time to the community. Through our virtual tours people will get an exclusive preview of our wonderful home and everything it has to offer.

“Not only has this home been built to the very highest specifications with beautiful facilities, but it has been done so completely from the residents’ point of view.

“Our approach to care is truly person-centred and we want residents to continue to enjoy their choice of lifestyle and hobbies, just as they would within their own homes. Our team will ensure meaningful social interaction is at the heart of everything we do.

The state-of-the art care home will offer Residential Care, Dementia and Respite Care and will also provide COVID-secure visiting areas so that residents can stay safe whilst enjoying visits from their loved ones.

The home’s beautiful interior design has been combined with innovative use of the latest technology to support person-centred care, including electronic care planning and motion sensors within bedrooms to ensure the safety of residents 24/7.

Bishops Cleeve Care Home will also include bright and spacious lounges on every floor for socialising, a community coffee shop to enjoy a cappuccino and a catch up with friends, a library corner and landscaped gardens for relaxing strolls.

The marketing suite is now open from 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
