Woodstock Care Home Celebrates Love with Special Couples Lunch

In a heartwarming celebration of love and commitment, Woodstock Care Home hosted a couples lunch today, bringing together four lovely pairs to commemorate over 240 years of marriage between them. The event, held in honour of Valentine’s Day, was a touching display of affection and companionship.

Tables adorned with flickering LED candles, delicate rose petals, and heart-shaped chocolates set the stage for an intimate gathering. The air was filled with the sounds of love songs streaming from Alexa, creating a romantic atmosphere for the couples to enjoy.

Each couple had their own table, providing them with a space to share cherished memories and moments together. As they savoured a delicious roast dinner accompanied by sparkling white and red grape beverages, the couples basked in the warmth of each other’s company. The culinary delight didn’t end there, as a delightful dessert of pineapple upside-down cake and custard awaited them.
