Our dedicated care team also support Residents with behaviours that challenge and physical disabilities.

Our compassionate and committed team provide person-centred care tailored to the individual needs of each Resident. As part of a personalised care plan, we’ll provide as little or as much support as a Resident needs and always take into account personal preferences. We provide holistic care and we’ll enable access to additional healthcare services such as nutritionists, chiropodists and opticians whenever needed.

Our award-winning wellbeing and activities team at Parklands work hard to ensure that each Resident has access to meaningful social interaction and activities that stimulate body, mind and soul. The activities schedule within our Care Home in Walsall is varied and based upon Residents’ individual preferences wherever possible.
Some of our most popular activities including cake baking, coffee mornings, listening to music and a whole host of arts and crafts sessions.
Dining and nutrition
The talented culinary team at Parklands work hard to handcraft a varied menu of delicious meals, offering Residents choice and ensuring they get the nutritional support they need. We offer a range of classic recipes, popular regional dishes and Residents’ personal favourites. All our meals are prepared freshly each day using seasonal ingredients wherever possible.
And not only do Residents get to enjoy eating our delicious dishes but they get to join in with preparing their favourite foods if they wish. Our on-site Activities Team support Residents in baking and cooking activities, with seasonal celebrations and festive bakes always proving popular.

Our Home always has a community feel with lots going on in our communal spaces and our sensory room. Alternatively, if Residents prefer time to relax, there’s our separate quiet lounge to read the morning newspaper or our landscaped gardens to enjoy some fresh air.
