We look after Residents with different care needs, offering residential and nursing care on-site across five separate Houses. We provide expert care to Residents living with complex needs, including dementia and Parkinson’s. Thanks to the range of care we deliver, once Residents live with us at Ryland View, we can provide the appropriate care here if their needs change.
CARE FOR YOU
Compassion and empathy are at the heart of person-centred care, which is why we believe it’s the best approach. Residents are treated as the individuals they are, so their wishes and decisions are respected at every stage. We see care as a collaboration between Residents, their loved ones and our team.
Emotional wellbeing is as important as physical wellbeing and can have a profound impact on health. Our team work to meet that emotional wellbeing is support as well as spiritual, nutritional and any other needs. We aim to empower Residents to live the lives that will bring them joy and security.
Living life to the full
Our Care Home in Dudley has a packed activities schedule, so Residents always have plenty of things to look forward to. The Activities Team look to engage with sessions that stimulate the mind, move the body and offer opportunities to socialise. We encourage Residents to keep up their favourite hobbies and try new things.
Residents’ favourite activities include quizzes, baking, light gardening, bingo, arts and crafts and board games. We have musical and reminiscence sessions, which are therapeutic for Residents living with dementia. Plus, we enjoy close connections with local community groups, who often come and visit us. If Residents want to get out and about to local attractions, our team will support them.
Dining and nutrition
Residents at Ryland View enjoy a healthy, nutritious and delicious menu every day. Our on-site chefs prepare dishes from fresh, seasonal produce, ensuring that there are plenty of choices available. There is a weekly rotating menu, so Residents get to experience a wide variety of dishes every month.
When Residents arrive, the kitchen team will meet with them to discuss their food preferences. During the meeting, Residents can let us know their favourite foods and dishes, any dietary requirements or cultural needs that must be taken into account. We invite regular feedback, so Residents can let us know which dishes they enjoy most and request new options.
Keeping Residents safe and connected with their loved ones is always a priority for our team at Ryland View Care Home in Dudley. We have recently installed a COVID-secure, outdoor visiting pod to ensure that Residents can socialise with their family and friends in warmth and comfort.

What residents and families say about us
Here are some of our latest reviews from CareHome.co.uk, the leading care home review website.
My friend came to your lovely care home and was with you for two weeks. The wonderful care you gave her I will never forget and will always be grateful to you. I would highly recommend Ryland View!
When she arrived, Mam was at a very low ebb. The care she received was instrumental in enabling us to see "our Mam" come back again. Her medical, social and psychological needs were cheerfully met by the manager and the amazing staff.
Our Mam gets fantastic care and support from all the staff. They keep us up to date with her health and wellbeing and keep her busy and happy with plenty of activities to do — a lovely, homely place.
