Joy For Braemount As Gardening Group Wins ‘Advinia In Bloom’ Prize

Congratulations are in order for Team Braemount after they scooped the ‘Best Hanging Basket’ prize at this year’s ‘Advinia In Bloom’ contest.
Residents and Colleagues were thrilled to hear that their hard work had paid off after being judged joined first in the category with Hammerwich Hall.
Judge Simon Morris said that although Braemount’s hanging baskets and containers were stunning, he was particularly impressed by the teamwork on display.
According to Simon, it was the lengths to which Colleagues went to make sure the activity was inclusive for all that secured their win.
Simon said: “The presentations from both Braemount and Hammerwich Hall were terrific, but I was particularly impressed by the level of teamwork on display.
“Both Homes worked hard to ensure the planning and potting was an inclusive activity, and it was great to see Residents being at the heart of what they achieved.”
This was the first year for the ‘Advinia In Bloom’ competition, which has proved a roaring success across all 37 Advinia Care Homes.
Team Braemount has won a £100 voucher for coming joint first and can use it as they compete to keep the title in 2022.
