Our Care Homes are open and we are welcoming new residents
Find out more about how we are helping Residents to stay safe and well here.
Welcome to Arncliffe Court Care Home in Liverpool, situated in the town of Halewood, seven miles from the city centre. We’re just three minutes’ walk from Hunts Cross train centre, on local bus routes and easily accessible from both the M62 and M57.
Our devoted and compassionate team care for Residents living with a range of needs, including dementia and Parkinson’s. Each one of our six Houses on-site shares the same warm, friendly atmosphere. Residents are immediately welcomed into our community and will find plenty of things to enjoy.
On our doorstep are all the amenities Halewood has to offer, including local shops, restaurants and parks. We support Residents to get out and about if they choose, plus there are plenty of activities going on at the Home if they prefer not to venture outside.
CARE FOR YOU
Our ethos of person-centred care puts Residents at the heart of everything we do. We work in partnership with each Resident and their loved ones, to ensure they have an active role in decisions around their care. In doing so, we want to empower Residents to live the life they choose.
We believe Residents have a range of wellbeing needs that must be met. These include physical, mental, emotional, nutritional and spiritual needs. By choosing a holistic care approach, we give Residents all the support they need to feel safe, supported and independent.
Living life to the full
Our busy activities schedule means there’s something to engage and entertain Residents every day. The Activities Team concentrates on mental stimulation, increased mobility, sensory activities and social interaction.
The schedule includes everything from bingo to pamper sessions, quizzes to reminiscence sessions, arts and crafts to themed days. We also invite entertainers and community groups to visit us, and always welcome loved ones to join in the fun.
Dining and nutrition
Nutrition and good health are a priority for our Care Home in Liverpool, so we have a dedicated team of chefs to prepare fresh food on-site. Each menu is devised to incorporate seasonal produce, Residents’ favourite dishes and healthy options.
When Residents first arrive, they can share details of their favourite meals and any dietary requirements. If there are cultural or belief-based needs important to Residents, we will work within them to serve delicious, satisfying meals.
Our number one priority is keeping Residents safe and connected with their loved ones. We have recently created a COVID-secure, indoor visiting space to ensure that Residents can socialise with their family and friends in warmth and comfort.
A home away from home
We’re lucky to be able to provide the best of both worlds at our Care Home in Liverpool. All the good things about city life are close to hand, plus our site is calm and peaceful, with beautiful gardens. Each House has a spacious lounge and dedicated dining area, and bedrooms can be personalised as soon as new Residents arrive.
All bedrooms look out onto our landscaped gardens, offering a lovely view for Residents to enjoy. Outside, there’s plenty of seating where Residents can relax as they take in the flowers and plants. One of our gardens has a pond, which is home to eight coy carp. For Residents who enjoy gardening, we grow vegetables and flowers in our greenhouse and always appreciate a helping hand.

What residents and families say about us
Here are some of our latest reviews from CareHome.co.uk, the leading care home review website.
Staff are very helpful and attentive and are always around to cater for the Resident's needs. Mum has come on great and is building confidence daily.
The staff are so welcoming, kind and caring; they appear to be so happy in their jobs, so motivated by management, and it shows in their care of the residents. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful - the residents feel safe, secure, cared for and loved.
My mum has settled in really well and made some very close friends. The whole of the staff and team are all fantastic and very compassionate in all that they do. They have really given us peace of mind knowing my mum is looked after.
