Find out more about how we are helping Residents to stay safe and well here.
Welcome to Newcarron Court Care Home in Falkirk. Our purpose-built Home is located in the historic Forth Valley, Scotland, and is set in beautiful grounds which include an idyllic rose garden – perfect for resting on those long summer days.
We provide person-centred care for a range of needs including the frail and elderly, as well as those living with dementia and Parkinson’s. Situated close to major transport routes and within easy reach of Glasgow, Newcarron Court Care Home in Falkirk is a popular choice for families looking for quality care.
Our highly trained registered nurses and care assistants are available around-the-clock to ensure all Residents are able to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Whether they are engaged in a buzz of activities or enjoying some peace and quiet, the Residents are always our number one priority.
CARE FOR YOU
Our friendly Home is split into six spacious self-contained units situated across two floors with lift access. Each unit has its own dedicated nurses, care team and support staff who take great pride in providing high-quality, person-centred care for all Residents. As part of our warm welcome we’ll create an individualised care plan carefully tailored to each Resident’s specific care requirements and personal preferences.
As well as our dedicated nursing and dementia care team our Home receives regular on-site visits from a registered GP. In addition, we facilitate visits from chiropodists, opticians, dentists, physiotherapists and other health care professionals to ensure all Resident needs are met.
Living life to the full
We pride ourselves on promoting an active lifestyle here at Newcarron Court. Thanks to our super minibus we are able to take regular trips to the surrounding countryside with its wealth of history, as well as to the seaside, local safari park and shopping centres. Our Care Home in Falkirk is also fortunate to be part of a strong local community and our dedicated Inter-Generational Lounge Area means children from local nursery and primary schools can meet Residents and share entertainment and stories, offering a magical experience for all.
As well as having entertainers visit the Home, including cabaret acts, our days are filled with arts and crafts, gardening, tea parties and reminiscence sessions, among other activities.
Dining and nutrition
A good diet is crucial to Resident health and wellbeing and at Newcarron Court our creative team of chefs are always coming up with a variety of delicious dishes. Our Colleagues endeavour to provide a seasonal menu with a well-balanced diet to suit all tastes and nutritional needs. Our head chef even runs a Cook School giving Residents a chance to participate and taste some amazing recipes.
Residents are also able to contribute and make meal and ingredient suggestions via regular questionnaires. Friday’s fish and chips followed by home-made cream cakes is always highly popular. No special occasion is ever forgotten at our Home, whether it is a birthday, a traditional Sunday roast or a Haggis on Burns’ night – our chef is set to impress.
Our number one priority is keeping Residents safe and connected with their loved ones. We have recently created a COVID-secure, indoor visiting space to ensure that Residents can socialise with their family and friends in warmth and comfort.
Electronic care plans
We always strive to innovate and use technology to enhance our provision of person-centred care. Our Home uses Electronic Care Plans which provide instant and secure access to care details and provide a thorough overview of support and activities. Using technology increases efficiency and enables our Colleagues to spend more meaningful time with Residents and improving the quality of interactions and care and support provided.
A home away from home
Our 116-bed Home has a warm and friendly atmosphere and it’s important to us that all Residents feel at home right from the start. We encourage Residents to personalise their own rooms, bringing their own small items of furniture or decorative pieces to make it a homely and cosy environment.
As well as offering comfortable bedrooms, Residents can enjoy our spacious communal lounges or quiet areas and our beautiful gardens offer an oasis of calm.

What residents and families say about us
Here are some of our latest reviews from CareHome.co.uk, the leading care home review website.
The staff were very forthcoming with information in these difficult times, I take my hat off to them. I can't praise them enough for the jobs they do. Well done to ALL staff in all care homes, god bless you all.
We have been unable to visit Mum since lockdown and the staff there have been like her family over the last few months. We have been able to talk to her only through the window and on FaceTime and each time a member of staff has been there with her. As a result, we have complete confidence that Mum is receiving the best care possible from all the staff in her unit until we are able to visit her again.
The staff are very friendly and helpful to visitors and are great to mum.
