CARE FOR YOU

Person-centred care
Our friendly Home is split into six spacious self-contained units situated across two floors with lift access. Each unit has its own dedicated nurses, care team and support staff who take great pride in providing high-quality, person-centred care for all Residents. As part of our warm welcome we’ll create an individualised care plan carefully tailored to each Resident’s specific care requirements and personal preferences.
As well as our dedicated nursing and dementia care team our Home receives regular on-site visits from a registered GP. In addition, we facilitate visits from chiropodists, opticians, dentists, physiotherapists and other health care professionals to ensure all Resident needs are met.

Living life to the full
We pride ourselves on promoting an active lifestyle here at Newcarron Court. Thanks to our super minibus we are able to take regular trips to the surrounding countryside with its wealth of history, as well as to the seaside, local safari park and shopping centres. Our Care Home in Falkirk is also fortunate to be part of a strong local community and our dedicated Inter-Generational Lounge Area means children from local nursery and primary schools can meet Residents and share entertainment and stories, offering a magical experience for all.
As well as having entertainers visit the Home, including cabaret acts, our days are filled with arts and crafts, gardening, tea parties and reminiscence sessions, among other activities.

Dining and nutrition
A good diet is crucial to Resident health and wellbeing and at Newcarron Court our creative team of chefs are always coming up with a variety of delicious dishes. Our Colleagues endeavour to provide a seasonal menu with a well-balanced diet to suit all tastes and nutritional needs. Our head chef even runs a Cook School giving Residents a chance to participate and taste some amazing recipes.
Residents are also able to contribute and make meal and ingredient suggestions via regular questionnaires. Friday’s fish and chips followed by home-made cream cakes is always highly popular. No special occasion is ever forgotten at our Home, whether it is a birthday, a traditional Sunday roast or a Haggis on Burns’ night – our chef is set to impress.

The B Happie Mission
Our mission to promote happy residents and happy staff is underlined by our groundbreaking ‘B Happie Charter’. We achieve these values by conducting person centred activities and events with a whole home approach, by recognising and appreciating the amazing work that our teams do and by prioritising mental health and wellness.

Electronic care plans
We always strive to innovate and use technology to enhance our provision of person-centred care. Our Home uses Electronic Care Plans which provide instant and secure access to care details and provide a thorough overview of support and activities. Using technology increases efficiency and enables our Colleagues to spend more meaningful time with Residents and improving the quality of interactions and care and support provided.
